About NPRDA
We have a team of thematic and sectoral specialists on livelihoods, agriculture, institution building, programme design, GIS-based MIS system, research & evaluation. In addition, we support our clients in GIS based MIS system development, capacity building and system strengthening. Our team has extensive capacity of implementing assessment, evaluation, and manages survey. We have also in-housecapacity of implementing market and perception studies and extending other management consulting services.
Core services
Research is one of the core works that NPRDA envisage to work on. With a strong team of researchers our strength to support high standard research to our clients on different thematic area including supporting agencies, educational institution and research agencies in extending long term research support.
Assessment and Evaluation is one of the major thrusts of our work. We support our clients in implementing evaluation and assessment studies to help our client understand what worked well for them and what didn’t. Our approach has always been to undertake rigorous evaluations to inform our client about best suited solutions and recommendation so that they can plan their programme better.
Data and information management is another key area where NPRDA focuses its work. This includes helping agencies by providing outsourcing services to develop data collection and management set ups, developing GIS based Management Information Systems (MIS) and provide back-end data support to meet their business and operation needs.
Capacity Development is another pillar where NPRDA envisages to help the organizations and agencies building their capacities focused on M&E, institution building, system strengthening including finance and system strengthening. Our approach is to development need based capacity development modules, content and resources to help our client manage their work better.
Programme Development and Technical Assistance is another area where NPRDA supports its clients in helping both designing programmes and extending core areas wise technical support in areas around livelihoods, agriculture, climate sensitive agriculture, marketing and market linkages, etc.
NPRDA Projects
Evaluation and Measurement
We are supporting WOTR in the endline evaluation of their watershed intervention that uses OECD DAC criteria to measure how effective the intervention has been in improving water availability, practices around sustainable agriculture, water management, community actions among tribal communities in Odisha and building their resilience to climate change
Content Designing
We are supporting Child Fund India in development of interactive educational kit for young and students on climate change to educate young and student about climate change and actions. We are also implementing user testing and training of master trainers on the tool kit.
Organisation and Strategy Management
We are working with Ekta and Handicap International to support Ekta strategize their expansion plan as country level strategic partner for Handicap International. We test the readiness of the organisation in development, programmes, and management aspects to gauge its ability and support the scale up plan to 3 Indian states around disability, inclusion, and livelihood.
